Lovely property, great facilities, and hilarious fingerprints and food marks as souvenirs in the kitchen. The bonus? The bin and extractor fan in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months! Hilarious!

Perfection! I couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

The views from our cottage were absolutely stunning from every floor, offering a picturesque backdrop for our stay. The cottage itself was lovely and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best things about the location was that we could easily access the lake and enjoy walks right from our doorstep. It was also conveniently located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

There were a few issues with cleanliness that were a bit disappointing. Despite checking in early for extra cleaning, we found food marks in the kitchen and finger prints on the light switches and sockets.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt surrounded by elegance and charm. The tasteful furnishings and attention to detail created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy to navigate with my mobility scooter. The staff were also very helpful in assisting me with any needs that I had during my stay.

I would have appreciated a more tailored experience for senior guests. While the overall stay was wonderful, I found that there could have been more consideration given to the unique needs of older individuals.

We had a fantastic time at Hovera in Glenridding! The cottage offered stunning views from every floor and was equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to beautiful walks and the lake. The showers were hot and the spacious walk-in shower was a wonderful surprise. The cottage was clean and tastefully furnished, and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances, including a tea pot and percolator. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like spare towels for our dogs and plenty of torches. The bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely gesture.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful cottage with stunning views. The house was very clean and tastefully furnished, with well-equipped kitchen facilities including an induction hob. We were pleasantly surprised to find a tea pot, milk jug, and percolator provided. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of sockets and lamps. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels for our dogs and torches. The hot showers in the spacious walk-in shower were a definite highlight. The location was perfect, with walks right from the doorstep and easy access to the lake. We will definitely be returning and recommending this fantastic place. a delightful experience!
